EAF helps create Chicago Campus Green Roof Map!
Check out the Campus Green Roof Map developed by interns with the Environment, Agriculture and Food Group at the University of Chicago!
The Academic Host Committee of the 2012 CitiesAlive conference presents the Chicago Campus Green Roofs Tool (www.chicagocampusgreenroofs.com). The tool, developed by interns with the Environment, Agriculture and Food Group at the University of Chicago, along with the City of Chicago, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and Loyola University’s Office of Sustainability, promotes Chicago-area campus green roofs using an interactive mapping application. The map features campus green roof locations, photos, performance data and information on public accessibility. The tool will be presented by the University of Chicago interns in the conference’s Collegiate Cafe on Thursday, October 18.
The tool will be available to the public and will include information for all campuses and eventually for all green roofs in Chicago, in collaboration with the City of Chicago.
